It's so hard to talk about yourself in the third person and describe who you are in a nutshell. I tend to try to keep my life simple so I guess thats how I will keep this little blurb about me.
I'm 44 y/o, single and live near Vancouver, WA. I just recently moved here from Long Beach, WA where I lived for 15 years and raised my beautiful daughter. She currently lives with her father during this transition stage until I am able to find a apartment and get settled in here. Life is so much different here, but I like it here.
I was born and raised on a small farm near Bellingham, WA and lived there till I was 29 when I moved to Long Beach. I enjoy being in the city as it offers more to me culturally then the small town at the beach ever could.
I do enjoy some things that living on the beach offered though; walks in the early morning on a quiet beach with only the surf and the gulls to serenade you. Watching the sunset over the pacific is a sight that I will never take for granted again as its the most spectacular thing the human eye could ever witness. Being witness to mother nature in all her splendor; the abundant wildlife right in my backyard and sometimes being so close I could reach out and touch a deer or a coyote.
I am a true romantic at heart and revel in the things that being one brings. I love the notion of being swept off my feet and never coming down. I guess its old fashioned but it's my ideal....and it's what I seek in a partner. There comes a time in a womans life where she reaches point she tires of games and the players in the dating world. That being said, I know now why I have set these lofty goals for myself. I have a right to be a bit picky when it comes to a choice for someone in my life. I want to be happy and in doing so, my significant other will be happy too.
I hope to meet and make many friends here, but most of all.... one day....
